Karol Kallay (1926 - 2012)
Karol Kállay was one of the most significant representatives of Slovak photography, having worked in the fields of fashion, journalism, and landscape portraiture. He was the author of Franz Kafka and Prague, Impatience, and Los Angeles. He contributed to various periodicals in Slovakia and abroad, and his clients included GEO Hamburg, Stern Focus, and Spiegel. He was a founding member of the Bilderberg picture agency and a member of the International Federation of Artistic Photography in Switzerland.
