Tibor Honty (1907 - 1968)
Tibor Honty was a Czech-Slovak ceramicist and photographer. Honty studied ceramics at the School of Arts and Crafts in Bratislava from 1930 to 1933, which was know as the Slovak Bauhaus at the time. Honty subsequently went on to exhibit his ceramics in Paris and Prague. He later moved to Prague, where he lived until his death in 1968.
During his early years in Prague he worked in a printing house as a chemigraph and retoucher. His earliest known photographs were made in 1935.
