Vojtech Volavka (1899 - 1985)
Vojtech Volavka was an important art historian focused on Czech and French art of the 19th and 20th centuries and on theoretical issues of painting and sculpture. He was married three times, with his first wife Hana Volavkova, director of the Jewish Museum in Prague, he had a son, Jan Vojtech Volavka, who works as a professor of psychiatry at New York University. His third wife, Zdenka Volavkova, also an art historian, dealt with African art in the Cabinda area, among other things.
